The new challenges faced by organizations in terms of energy efficiency and sustainability make necessary the acquisition of new techniques and knowledge. To address the issue, the University of Lleida, through the Continuing Education Center, and EAN University of Colombia organized the Specialization Course on Sustainable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
The course combines theoretical-practical workshops with visits to companies and institutions related to the study topics.
On the second day, among business innovation strategies and the analysis of practical cases, the Life Big4Life project was presented. The presentation of the Agrobiotech Park was delivered by Josep Presseguer. Laura Herrera led the technical visit to the park’s green roof.
The park has a rooftop terrace, refurbished within the framework of the project, with a surface area of 600 m² following a xeroscaping approach.
The course was attended by 26 people interested in the topic.
