BIG4LIFE project promotes the exchange of knowledge across countries and cultures.
Architecture students from the University of Genoa have worked on the design of a biodiverse green roof on the Cavallers building as part of the BIG4LIFE project.
During a trip to Catalunya in April 2025, they visited the green roofs of URBASER and TEBVerd in Barcelona and shared their projects with agronomy and building engineering students from the University of Lleida, who are also working on the same roof within the cross-disciplinary green roofs course.
An inspiring session that concluded with visits to iconic sites in Lleida, such as the Parador, the water reservoir, and the Seu Vella cathedral.
