As part of the BIG4LIFE project, the University of Lleida has organized during February 2025 several workshops for high school students to explore nature-based architectural solutions.
Institutes Maria Rúbies, Castell dels Templers and Gili i Gaia are the high schools that have participated.
During the activities, participants constructed models of a structural detail of a green roof. The workshop demonstrated to students that Green Architecture minimizes environmental impact, helps restore and strengthen ecosystems, and fosters a balance between urban life and nature. All this, in a stimulating event that encourages the active participation of all students and awakens their interest in the world of green architecture.
