Students from the Architecture School of Vallès (ETSAV – UPC) explored two green roofs monitored within the BIG4LIFE project:
- The biodiverse roof of Urbaser in the Sant Andreu neighborhood, where we are already monitoring environmental parameters (such as CO2, VOC, PM, temperature, humidity and noise) thanks to a weather station.
- The roof of the Pérez Iborra school, where we took the opportunity to install a biotrapping camera to continue monitoring biodiversity.
A dozen students made this visit as part of an intensive course, where they work on the redesign of the flat roof of the ETSAV.
A practical and inspiring experience to connect theory with real applications of green infrastructure!
